This position is structured around a remote telehealth model, enabling you to work from anywhere while maintaining a steady schedule. Our typical work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts depending on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the emotional and psychological needs of children and adolescents.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address each patient's developmental stage and family context.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family therapy to effectively treat anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues.

• Provide crisis intervention and support to children and adolescents during moments of acute distress, ensuring safety and immediate stabilization.

• Engage in regular family therapy sessions to equip parents and caregivers with strategies to nurture a supportive home environment.

• Stay current on best practices and advancements in child and adolescent mental health to enhance treatment effectiveness.

• Maintain detailed and confidential records of patient interactions in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards.

• Participate in continuous professional development including team meetings, case consultations, and training workshops.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role centers on a diverse patient population of children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. You will work closely with young individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral health disorders, providing them with the understanding and support they need in a compassionate and respectful environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist in the state of New York.

• Solid foundation in child and adolescent mental health practices, therapeutic modalities, and crisis intervention techniques.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a solid understanding of the needs of young patients.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
