You will enjoy a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine the needs and challenges of children and adolescents, using standardized tools and clinical judgment.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that account for individual developmental stages, family dynamics, and cultural factors.

• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), to effectively address mental health concerns.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to educate and guide parents and caregivers, ensuring they are equipped to foster a supportive and nurturing environment for their children.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary team members, maintaining a coordinated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and emergency support to children and adolescents facing acute mental health challenges.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment strategies, and available resources in the community.

• Ensure accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Actively engage in team meetings and case consultations, and pursue professional development opportunities.

• Stay up-to-date with current research and advancements in child and adolescent psychiatry to inform clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role is dedicated to providing mental health care for children and adolescents, a population that requires a nuanced approach to address the complexities of their emotional and psychological development. You will work with individuals facing a diverse range of mental health disorders, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, ADHD, and various behavioral disorders. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.

• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, along with familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proven experience delivering individual and family therapy specifically to young clients.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a child-centered and compassionate approach to therapy.

• A demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with children, adolescents, and their families in a remote environment.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications for effective documentation and treatment planning.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
