Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify specific needs, challenges, and strengths of children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and consider the developmental stages of young individuals.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family therapy to address various mental health concerns.

• Engage parents and caregivers through family therapy sessions, guiding them on how to foster a supportive home environment.

• Collaborate with the clinical team to provide integrated care, ensuring that treatment aligns with the recommendations from child psychiatrists and other professionals.

• Provide crisis intervention and direct support during mental health emergencies, offering immediate assistance to children and their families.

• Educate families about mental health issues, coping strategies, and available community resources, empowering them with knowledge.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in continuous professional development activities and stay informed about advancements in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on children and adolescents facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. Qualifications\n

• Hold a Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Possess a valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in California.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
