Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, with the flexibility to work from your own home while also having access to our outpatient office in Los Angeles as needed. While the standard working hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, occasional evening shifts may be necessary to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the needs and strengths of children and adolescents.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that take into account the developmental stages and family dynamics of each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address a variety of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, guiding parents and caregivers in creating nurturing and supportive environments.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists, medical professionals, and educational staff to ensure a cohesive approach to care.

• Provide crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies affecting young patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment methodologies, and available community resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and continuing professional development workshops.

• Stay abreast of current research, best practices, and advancements in the field of child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role emphasizes the importance of addressing the mental health needs of children and adolescents. You will work closely with a diverse population, helping clients manage and overcome challenges related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues. Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• Extensive knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methods.
\n
• Proven experience delivering individual and family therapy to children and adolescents.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building rapport with young clients and their families.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer programs.

• A collaborative spirit, demonstrating an ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a child and adolescent outpatient clinical setting.

• Familiarity with cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and other therapeutic modalities specifically designed for younger populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
