Key Responsibilities\n

As a licensed mental health therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough mental health assessments that take into account the developmental history and needs of children and adolescents.

• Crafting and implementing tailored treatment plans that reflect each patient's unique circumstances, family dynamics, and developmental stage.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy, to address various mental health issues.

• Facilitating family therapy sessions aimed at enhancing communication and support within the family structure.

• Coordinating care with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment.

• Providing immediate crisis intervention for mental health emergencies, emphasizing stabilization and safety.

• Educating patients and their caregivers on mental health diagnoses, available treatment options, and relevant community resources.

• Maintaining meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations for protected health information (PHI).

• Participating actively in team meetings, contributing insights during case consultations, and engaging in professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents dealing with a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license in California as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

Compensation and Benefits\n
