Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that reflect their specific needs, goals, and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care, ensuring all aspects of a client's mental health are addressed.

• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to enhance clinical effectiveness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as either an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
