Our client, a highly regarded, full-service, Chicago-based law boutique, seeks a skilled, senior associate to partner level bankruptcy attorney to join its nationally acclaimed Bankruptcy, Restructuring, and Creditors’ Rights Group.
The Firm represents creditors in chapter 11 cases in courts throughout the country, including one of the largest health insurance companies as national bankruptcy counsel. It also represents insurance companies as the Debtors’ insurers, lenders in restructurings, foreclosure actions, and UCC sales, purchasers of distressed business assets, receivers in state and federal receiverships, and chapter 7 Trustees in all aspects of chapter 7 cases.
Requirements
The successful candidate will possess excellent academic credentials and significant chapter 7 and chapter 11 case experience. Healthcare and/or insurance industry experience is preferred.
No portable business is required. Billable hour targets are reasonable, and compensation is competitive.
