Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver comprehensive psychotherapy services, including individual, group, and family therapy focused on addressing a spectrum of mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD.

• Conduct in-depth assessments of patients’ mental health, ensuring a thorough understanding of their emotional, social, and behavioral functioning.
\n
• Develop tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, ensuring cultural competence and sensitivity to the unique psychological needs of each patient.

• Engage in regular collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide a coordinated approach to patient care, monitoring progress and modifying treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations and patient feedback.

• Offer educational resources and family support, equipping families with information regarding mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources available to them.

• Maintain the highest ethical standards, including strict adherence to confidentiality and informed consent protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will primarily focus on patients within hospice care, who may be experiencing complex emotional responses associated with serious illnesses. This includes supporting patients and their families through grief, loss, and mental health challenges as they navigate the sensitive stages of end-of-life care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Minimum of three years of experience in providing psychotherapy and mental health services, particularly in a hospice or healthcare setting.

• Exceptional communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills, essential for building trusting relationships with patients and collaborating with healthcare teams.

• Strong clinical skills, with demonstrated ability to conduct assessments and implement effective, evidence-based treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits\n
