Employment Litigation Associate

Location: San Francisco, CA Employment Litigation Associate A premier technology-focused law firm is seeking a 3rd–5th year Associate to join its Employment & Trade Secret practice (Multiple Offices). This is an exceptional opportunity to work with innovative clients ranging from early-stage startups to Fortune 500 companies across the technology, life sciences, clean energy and emerging growth sectors. The role offers a unique blend of employment litigation, counselling, internal investigations and transactional support, providing associates with broad exposure and significant responsibility from an early stage. Key Responsibilities Handle management-side employment litigation matters through all stages of a dispute Conduct internal workplace investigations Advise employers on day-to-day employment law issues, including terminations, leaves of absence, employee discipline and workplace policies Draft and review employment agreements, policies and related documentation Counsel clients on trade secret disputes, restrictive covenants and employee mobility matters Advise on employment-related aspects of mergers, acquisitions and other corporate transactions Draft substantive motions, briefs and other legal filings Work directly with clients to develop practical, business-focused solutions Who You Are 3rd–5th year associate Experience in management-side employment litigation and counselling Significant experience litigating employment disputes Experience advising fast-growing companies on employment compliance mattersExperience with trade secrets, non-compete issues and employee non-solicitation matters preferred Experience supporting employment issues arising in M&A transactions preferred Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills Strong academic credentials Member of the California Bar Compensation Salary Range: $260,000 – $365,000 (DOE based on class year) Benefits: Discretionary merit bonuses, comprehensive healthcare coverage, family-building benefits, paid parental leave, 401(k), wellness reimbursements, career coaching, back-up childcare support, firm-paid CLE and bar dues, and a broad range of wellbeing and insurance benefits. #J-18808-Ljbffr The People Of: Professional Services
