Assistant Buyer
Virtual Vocations Inc
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Assistant Buyer will manage inventory levels, implement merchandising strategies, and negotiate with suppliers to optimize product availability and profitability. Key responsibilities Implement merchandising strategies for core assortments and pricing architecture Monitor retail inventory levels at the SKU level to align with sales plans Develop and maintain relationships with supply partners and negotiate advantageous terms Required qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree is desirable 1+ years of industry experience preferred, with 2+ years in merchandising and buying, ideally in cannabis Excellent working knowledge of Excel and analytics software Supervisory experience required Cannabis product knowledge is desirable
