Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs, strengths, and areas for development.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, setting specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) goals for each client.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services via phone or in-person meetings, ensuring clients receive immediate and effective support during acute phases.
\n
• Maintain accurate and updated clinical records regarding each client’s treatment progress, including documenting therapy sessions and client interactions.
\n
• Engage with clients through therapeutic conversations, offering guidance and information on treatment options during sessions.
\n
• Participate in case conferences to discuss client progress, share insights with colleagues, and alter treatment strategies as needed.
\n
• Serve as a primary contact for clients, coordinating care with other health professionals and community resources to optimize client outcomes.

• Actively involved in professional development and training opportunities to stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in mental health support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily be helping vulnerable populations facing mental health challenges, including but not limited to survivors of trauma, individuals grappling with substance use disorders, and families affected by domestic violence. Your role will be crucial in advocating for their needs, ensuring they have access to essential resources and support services in the community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Demonstrated clinical experience with direct service in social work or mental health counseling.

• Ability to build rapport with clients and exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills.
