Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake evaluations and assessments to determine client needs and appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual circumstances.

• Develop evidence-based treatment plans that may include psychoeducational groups, transitional support, and tailored therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing overall patient wellbeing.

• Implement and oversee crisis intervention strategies while maintaining the clinical needs of your caseload through regular follow-ups and check-ins.

• Participate actively in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings to share insights, collaborate on patient care strategies, and address clinical issues effectively.

• Document all clinical activities, treatment progress, and any significant findings in compliance with organizational policies and state regulations, ensuring accountability and continuity of care.

• Provide training and support to staff on mental health topics, fostering a culture of awareness and education within the team to enhance patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will encompass working with a wide range of clients seeking mental health services. This includes individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. You will also specialize in implementing suicide prevention techniques, which form a critical component of your practice. By creating personalized treatment plans, you will address unique patient concerns and facilitate meaningful therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling or related field and possession of an active LPCC license issued by the State of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.

• Proficiency with computers, telehealth platforms, and electronic health record (EHR) systems; prior telemedicine experience is highly desirable.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, enabling effective client interaction and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
