Outpatient Physical Therapist - Full-Time Position in Rehabilitation Center

Work Environment

The position is situated onsite at our specialized rehabilitation center in Estero, Florida, a lively community known for its picturesque landscapes and conducive atmosphere for health and wellness. Our facility provides a welcoming environment for both patients and staff, featuring modern therapy equipment and spacious treatment areas that enhance the healing process. Working Monday through Friday, you will have the option of a traditional schedule with either 8 AM–4 PM or 9 AM–5 PM shifts, or choose the flexibility of four 10-hour shifts, facilitating a better work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct expert evaluations to assess patients' physical capabilities and identify movement impairments.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic exercises, modalities, and interventions tailored to each patient's needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques and monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and athletic trainers, to enhance the holistic care of our patients.
• Educate patients and their families on recovery strategies, home exercise programs, and injury prevention techniques.
• Document patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, chronic pain conditions, and neurological issues. Your expertise will be critical in assisting patients ranging from adolescents to seniors, helping them regain function, mobility, and independence.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid Florida Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, paired with the ability to engage and motivate patients effectively.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is strongly preferred.
• Experience with specific patient populations or specialized therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy or sports rehabilitation, is advantageous.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of advancements in physical therapy practices.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year , commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a lucrative salary, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
