Work Environment

The successful applicant will work onsite at our Estero rehabilitation center, equipped with the latest therapy technology and resources to aid in successful patient care. Our clinic operates with a set schedule from Monday to Friday, with flexibility in hours allowing either an 8 AM to 4 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM shift, or the option of four 10-hour days, fostering work-life balance while meeting patient care demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and document patient conditions, ensuring accurate records of progress and treatment efficacy, utilizing updated assessment protocols.
• Design, implement, and adjust goal-oriented therapy plans based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback, actively involving patients in their care processes.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate comprehensive care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Educate patients and their families about diagnosis, treatment options, and home exercise programs, emphasizing the importance of adherence to enhance recovery outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with a diverse outpatient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain. Our holistic approach focuses not only on physical rehabilitation but also on empowering clients to regain their independence and improve their overall health and wellness.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; candidates with advanced degrees such as a Master's in Physical Therapy are preferred.
• Must possess or be eligible for a valid Florida Physical Therapy License.
• Demonstrated clinical competence and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members are essential.

Preferred Experience

We ask that applicants have at least two years of experience in a physical therapy setting, especially in outpatient rehabilitation. Familiarity with various treatment modalities and advanced therapeutic techniques will enhance your ability to deliver tailored care to our diverse patient population.

Compensation and Benefits
