Work Environment

This role is situated within our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, designed to foster an engaging and collaborative atmosphere for both patients and staff. Operating onsite, the clinic's functional layout enhances our ability to deliver comprehensive outpatient therapy while promoting effective teamwork among healthcare professionals. Our standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions, establishing individualized care plans that address their unique mobility goals.
• Utilize a variety of hands-on techniques and modalities to implement prescribed therapeutic interventions, always emphasizing non-surgical and cost-effective strategies.
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations of patient progress and feedback, ensuring optimal outcomes.
• Maintain a manageable caseload, dedicating personalized attention to each patient, which fosters a trusting therapeutic relationship.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to deliver integrated care.
• Document patient progress meticulously using EMR software, specifically WebPT, ensuring accurate records for quality assurance and care continuity.
• Educate patients on self-management techniques and enhance their adherence to wellness and exercise programs that improve strength, balance, and mobility.
• Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, instilling confidence and encouraging a proactive approach to their recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at our facility, you will work with a diverse patient population including athletes recovering from sports-related injuries, elderly patients seeking improved mobility, and individuals with a variety of orthopedic conditions. Your role will be pivotal in helping patients regain independence and achieve their personal rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active and impeccable Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Expertise in various manual therapy techniques, complemented by strong clinical skills in exercise prescription.
• Proficient in using EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for accurate clinical documentation and patient management.
• A strong foundation in current physical therapy practices, supported by ongoing professional development and research.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient setting focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated success in working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
