Work Environment\n

This position is remote, allowing for flexibility and adaptability in your work schedule while still ensuring a strong connection with your patients. The typical work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on patient needs. As part of our outpatient services, you will engage with clients in various therapeutic formats, leveraging technology to provide high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ histories and identify suitable treatment paths.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery, emphasizing evidence-based therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions aimed at enabling patients to process their trauma, build coping mechanisms, and foster emotional restoration.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated care that meets the multifaceted needs of patients.

• Deliver crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating your ability to remain calm under pressure.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and effective coping strategies, empowering them with the knowledge to navigate their recovery journey.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of all patient interactions, adhering to legal and ethical standards set in the industry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on supporting individuals dealing with trauma from various backgrounds. Our clients often struggle with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders as a result of significant life events. It is your role to cultivate a therapeutic alliance that enables clients to feel safe and understood while navigating their unique recovery paths.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current state licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
