Allure Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and culturally competent Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team in Killeen, Texas. This full-time position allows for remote work within an outpatient setting, providing a unique opportunity to deliver therapeutic services to a diverse clientele. Work Environment\n

This remote position offers the flexibility to work from home, allowing you to create an optimal environment for both yourself and your patients. While most interactions will take place via telehealth platforms, you will have access to Allure Counseling Center’s resources and support, including professional development opportunities. The role requires some flexibility in scheduling to address the varying needs of our patient population, with a standard work schedule of Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth, culturally responsive mental health assessments to create tailored treatment plans for each patient.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions customized to individual needs, ensuring the consideration of cultural identities and personal backgrounds.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions focused on a variety of mental health issues, fostering resilience and enhancing well-being.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and cohesive care.
\n
• Administer crisis intervention strategies and offer immediate support during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health topics, treatment choices, and available community resources, thereby empowering them with knowledge.

• Maintain diligent and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
\n
• Participate actively in team discussions, case conferences, and cultural competency training to refine practices and improve patient outcomes.

• Keep abreast of current research and best practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality mental health care.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist, valid in Texas.

• An extensive understanding of various mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities, with a strong emphasis on cultural competence.

• Experience delivering therapy—both individual and group—using inclusive methodologies.
\n
• Strong crisis intervention capabilities, with the ability to maintain composure in high-stress scenarios.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating an ability to build rapport and trust with diverse populations.

• Experience in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.
\n
• Commitment to upholding professional ethics, boundaries, and patient confidentiality.

• A collaborative spirit, ready to work alongside a multidisciplinary team in pursuit of common goals.

Compensation and Benefits\n
