You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative work setting, where the flexibility of remote work meets the warmth of a supportive team. Our normal work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to analyze individual needs and establish treatment goals for clients struggling with substance use disorders.

• Devise and implement personalized treatment plans rooted in evidence-based practices, ensuring therapeutic interventions align with patient objectives.

• Facilitate individual counseling sessions utilizing techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy, focusing on skill-building and personal growth.

• Organize and lead group therapy sessions where participants can share experiences and support one another in a safe, encouraging environment.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, addiction medicine experts, and fellow mental health professionals to deliver integrated care that addresses the full spectrum of patient needs.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during acute substance-related incidents, ensuring patient safety and facilitating timely assistance.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals suffering from substance use disorders, which encompass a diverse range of ages, backgrounds, and experiences. You will support them in overcoming addiction, facilitating personal growth and recovery plans tailored to their unique journeys. Your role will involve working closely with both clients and their families to foster a comprehensive support system.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of one year of relevant experience working with individuals facing addiction challenges.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York state.
\n
• Proficient understanding of substance use disorders, recovery-oriented practices, and evidence-based treatment methods.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a non-judgmental and empathetic approach towards patients and their families.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and modern technology related to mental health care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
