Wellness Works Physical Therapy, PC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our on-site Rehabilitation Center located in Sayreville, New Jersey. As a Physical Therapist in this full-time role, you will primarily work onsite, engaging directly with patients in a hands-on capacity, ensuring a high level of interaction and support throughout their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Physical Therapist at Wellness Works, you will take on the following responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical capabilities, including diagnostic and prognostic tests related to muscle, nerve, and joint function.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on each patient's evaluation, goals, and physician recommendations.
• Direct and supervise Physical Therapy Assistants in the execution of treatment protocols and ensure high standards of care are maintained.
• Administer diverse therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, exercise instruction, and the use of physical agents like traction and massage.
• Monitor patient progress, document clinical outcomes, and effectively communicate changes to both patients and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Engage with patients and their families to promote understanding and adherence to recommended therapy plans, including education on the use and care of any necessary therapeutic devices.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on patient care strategies and share insights that contribute to improved therapy outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies regarding clinical documentation and patient safety.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist in our Rehabilitation Center, you will work with a diverse range of patients including individuals recovering from surgeries, those dealing with chronic pain, and clients needing rehabilitation after injuries. Your expertise will help transition patients from being dependent to achieving their highest level of independence, allowing them to regain confidence in their physical capabilities.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey, in good standing.
• At least one year of experience as a Physical Therapist, ideally in an acute care or home care setting.
• Current CPR certification demonstrating commitment to patient safety.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively engage patients and collaborate with team members.
• A proactive approach to clinical excellence, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Preferred Experience

Experience in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation setting is preferred, as well as familiarity with current therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation technologies. Candidates with a background in treating orthopedic conditions or sports-related injuries will be given special consideration.

Compensation and Benefits

We value our team members, offering a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
