Role Description This full-time Recruiter role is a hybrid position based in the Springfield, Illinois Metropolitan Area, with a mix of in-office and work-from-home flexibility. The Recruiter is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for a variety of roles within the firm. Day-to-day activities include building talent pipelines through networking and outreach, posting and managing job ads, coordinating interviews, and maintaining accurate candidate records in applicant tracking systems. The role also involves partnering with hiring leaders to understand staffing needs, delivering a positive candidate experience, and supporting onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition into the organization. The Recruiter collaborates closely with team members to promote the firm’s mission and employer brand within the local market. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, including candidate sourcing, screening, and interview coordination. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring leaders, and community partners. Organizational and time-management abilities, including managing multiple requisitions, meeting deadlines, and maintaining detailed candidate records. Comfort with technology, such as applicant tracking systems, professional networking platforms, and standard office productivity tools. Knowledge of or interest in the financial services industry and a desire to support a mission focused on helping people achieve financial security. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborating in person in the Springfield area and independently from home. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
