Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to understand individual needs and create tailored, evidence-based treatment plans to address diverse mental health concerns.

• Provide individual psychotherapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices, adapting strategies to meet patient preferences.

• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical records that comply with HIPAA regulations, ensuring timely documentation of treatment and progress notes.
\n
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary treatment team consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and continuity of services.

• Engage in regular case supervision and peer review meetings to share best practices, enhance clinical skills, and improve overall service delivery.

• Educate patients and their families about treatment options, mental health resources, and coping strategies to empower their recovery journey.

• Continuously update your knowledge of clinical practices and emerging research in mental health treatment and incorporate this knowledge into your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with adults undergoing detoxification and recovery processes, many of whom face co-occurring mental health disorders. This patient population often requires specialized interventions that consider both their psychological and substance use challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with the state of Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical mental health setting, preferably working with individuals in crisis, addiction, or detox environments.

• Proficient knowledge in solution-focused therapy techniques and evidence-based practices.
