Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions to clients, focusing on emotional and behavioral challenges.

• Conduct initial assessments to develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with the client and healthcare team.

• Maintain thorough documentation of clinical notes and client progress in compliance with organizational and legal standards.

• Regularly communicate with psychiatrists and other primary care providers to discuss treatment efficacy and client needs.

• Facilitate crisis intervention strategies, identifying immediate concerns and implementing appropriate therapeutic techniques.

• Engage in discharge planning discussions with clients and their support systems to ensure a successful transition from therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Leading Edge Wellness & Counseling, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma-related disorders. Our clients range from children to adults, each presenting unique life experiences and challenges. Your role will involve understanding their circumstances deeply and providing compassionate support through their mental health journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.

• Valid LMFT licensure in the state of Washington or an equivalent certification.

• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in an outpatient setting.
