This position is primarily remote, allowing for a flexible work-from-home setup. However, our therapists also have the option to work from our outpatient office in Lakewood, Washington, as needed. Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage with clients through various modalities of therapy, including individual, couple, and family sessions, emphasizing evidence-based approaches that cater to the unique needs of each client.

• Maintain regular collaboration with families, other clinicians, and referring parties to ensure a cohesive approach to care and ongoing support throughout the treatment process.

• Conduct thorough and timely documentation in accordance with company policies, including biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning, progress updates, and discharge planning.

• Establish individualized aftercare plans for clients that provide tools and resources essential for continued progress post-discharge.

• Stay updated on the latest developments in the mental health field, incorporating new methodologies and insights into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Headway Clinics, you will work with a diverse client base that includes individuals, couples, and families facing various challenges, such as trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Understanding the unique dynamics within each family system is crucial, as you will be tasked with facilitating communication and providing strategies for resilience. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, and a strong emphasis is placed on culturally competent care to address their specific contexts.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.

• An active LMFT license issued by the State of Washington.
