Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess clients’ emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges, focusing on the symptoms' intensity, frequency, and duration.

• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and personal goals, ensuring their preferences are respected.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to assist clients in managing mood disorders and improving relationship dynamics.

• Engage clients and their families in educational discussions about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to enhance their overall well-being.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to deliver integrated care, addressing both mental health and any concurrent medical needs.

• Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in the field to refine treatment strategies and share knowledge with colleagues.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, prioritizing client privacy.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consults, and ongoing professional training, fostering a culture of shared learning and growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LMFT will primarily work with adults and families grappling with relationship issues, including but not limited to divorce counseling, transitional family challenges, and communication barriers. You will engage with a diverse clientele, offering compassionate support and specialized expertise to improve their mental health and relationship satisfaction.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required for this position.

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is essential.

• Demonstrated expertise in various therapeutic modalities including structural, strategic, systems, narrative, or communication therapies.

AmeriMed offers a competitive salary range of USD 52,000 to 100,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
