Division Accounting Manager

Accounting ManagerCentury Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $110,000 to $135,000 per year.Job ResponsibilitiesOversee daily accounting operations, including financial reporting, reconciliations, accruals, and general ledger activities.Lead month end, quarter end, and year end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.Analyze financial results, identify trends and variances, and provide insights to support business decisions.Manage accounting staff and support vendor payment processes, expense reporting activities, and operational accounting functions.Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and support special projects, tax filings, and cross functional initiatives.RequirementsA Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.Previous experience managing accounting operations, financial reporting, and close processes within a large or complex business environment.Strong understanding of accounting principles, revenue recognition, fixed assets, lease accounting, and financial controls.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.Must be located within commuting distance of the work location.QualificationsProven leadership experience with the ability to develop, mentor, and manage accounting teams.Previous experience with project costing, asset intensive operations, equipment accounting, or similar accounting environments.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.Prior experience implementing process improvements, system enhancements, and accounting automation initiatives.Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and leadership levels.
