Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients’ mental health needs to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual circumstances.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic services using a range of modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, among others.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, and other health professionals to ensure clients receive holistic care that encompasses all aspects of their mental health and well-being.

• Offer crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute distress, utilizing de-escalation techniques effectively while managing urgent care situations.

• Participate in community outreach activities to bolster mental health awareness, decrease stigma, and encourage individuals to seek the help they need.

Qualifications\n

• Active and independent licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Psychologist.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster therapeutic relationships.

• Proven cultural competence to effectively engage with and support clients from various backgrounds.
\n
• Excellent organizational skills to maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with clinical standards.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of direct experience as a mental health counselor is required, experience with telehealth services and engaging in brief therapeutic interventions is highly desirable. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a commitment to ongoing professional development will enhance your candidacy.
