Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms presented by clients.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their specific needs, aspirations, and preferences, ensuring a client-centered approach.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), while adjusting techniques based on ongoing client feedback.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment methodologies, and self-care strategies to enhance overall well-being.

• Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to meet evolving needs and goals.

• Work integratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for clients.

• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in the field of mood disorders to enhance clinical practice and treatment strategies.

• Maintain thorough and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring client privacy and care quality.

• Participate in team consultations, case reviews, and professional development sessions to continuously improve therapeutic skills.

• Act as an advocate for mental health awareness and destigmatization, ensuring clients' voices are represented within the healthcare system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients facing mood disorders, offering them empathetic support and evidence-based interventions designed to assist in their recovery journey. You will engage with individuals who may also belong to vulnerable populations, including those experiencing homelessness, refugees, or survivors of domestic violence.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) designation in the state of Nevada.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills conducive to building trust and rapport with clients.

• A nonjudgmental attitude and a high degree of empathy towards the diverse experiences of clients.

• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle a reasonable caseload while maintaining administrative responsibilities.
