This position allows you to work in a remote setting while being part of a collaborative outpatient team. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at The Outlet, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand the background and needs of each patient.
\n
• Developing individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience.
\n
• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions that enable patients to process their trauma and cultivate effective coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
\n
• Providing crisis intervention for patients experiencing acute distress due to trauma-related triggers.
\n
• Educating clients and their families on trauma responses and available support resources.
\n
• Maintaining detailed and confidential documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

• Engaging in continuous professional development to stay informed of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on individuals who have experienced traumatic events, including children, adolescents, and adults. We specialize in providing care for those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma histories, and related dissociative disorders. Each clinician plays a vital role in creating a therapeutic alliance that fosters a safe space for clients to confront their experiences openly, ultimately enhancing their healing and recovery process.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada.

• Strong understanding of trauma-informed approaches and the ability to apply these modalities effectively in therapy sessions.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and related technology for documentation and patient management.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and respectful approach towards clients.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experiences are highly preferred:

Compensation and Benefits\n
