Accounts Payable Clerk
Cynet Systems
Responsibilities Enter purchase order invoices into the accounting system (approximately 150200 invoices daily). Ensure invoice accuracy, including supplier name, invoice amount, invoice date, 1099 type/amount, and tax assessment. Resolve supplier and university department inquiries related to invoices, check requests, and payment status/issues. Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies or errors. Support special projects assigned by AP Leads or the AP Manager. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a metric-driven environment. Team-oriented mindset and ability to work collaboratively. Preferred Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field preferred. Experience working in a Higher Education environment. Experience with ERP workflow systems such as PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, or Workday. #J-18808-Ljbffr
