Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, contract opportunity offers the chance to work closely with a small classroom—just eight students on your caseload—allowing for personalized teaching and strong relationships with students in grades K-2.

Your expertise with cross-categorical settings will be essential as you guide students with diverse learning needs. If you have at least 1-2 years of experience in special education and are passionate about fostering growth in an inclusive classroom, this role is designed for you.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• 1-2 years of direct experience as a Special Education Teacher
• Demonstrated experience supporting K-2 students in cross-categorical settings
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and ability to implement individualized goals
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with parents, staff, and administration
• Positive, patient, and resourceful approach to classroom management

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver personalized lesson plans for a caseload of eight K-2 students with a range of needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure a tailored learning experience
• Create and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and maintain compliance with all requirements
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust strategies as needed to foster academic and social success
• Cultivate a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment
