Sous Chef – La Fia | Wilmington, Delaware

La Fia, Wilmington's acclaimed chef-driven restaurant, is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team.

A two-time James Beard Award semifinalist for Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic , La Fia is known for its seasonal menus, handmade pastas, whole-animal butchery, and refined yet approachable cuisine. We are looking for a passionate, organized leader who thrives in a high-standard, collaborative kitchen.

Qualified candidates should have experience with:

  • Handmade pasta production
  • Whole-animal butchery and fabrication
  • Sauté and hot line execution
  • Pastry and dessert preparation
  • Inventory management and ordering
  • Training and leading kitchen staff
  • Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, calm under pressure, and committed to continuous learning and excellence.
