Strategy Lead - US Governance & Experience - TikTok Shop Location: Seattle Employment Type: Regular Job Code: A217096 Responsibilities TikTok Shop's Governance and Experience (GNE) team is a global team responsible for ensuring a safe and trustworthy marketplace for buyers, sellers, and creators. The GNE Data Science, Strategy and Insight team works closely with the business from new opportunity exploration to key metrics set-up, providing a comprehensive understanding of the live shopping business model and a chance to make an impact. Responsible for US e‑commerce business strategy, participating in business development and key metrics analysis. Conduct industry research (merchants, product governance, UX, logistics, etc.) to refine best practices and provide implementation solutions and recommendations. Use analytics tools to produce critical business insights, ensuring cross‑functional alignment of goals and execution, and help build strategic partnerships to drive initiatives forward. Qualifications Minimum 5 years professional experience in strategy or strategy operations with domain knowledge in e‑commerce, marketplace business, consumables or technology. Ability to conduct in-depth research and analytics projects independently. Outstanding framework and logic, data sensitivity, strong communication, and ability to adapt to a fast‑paced environment. Strong leadership skillset in a global environment. Preferred: experience in management consulting or business strategy. Preferred: SQL-related experience. Compensation & Benefits The base salary range for this position in Seattle is $151,050 – $273,600 annually. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. The role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units.
