Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations, crisis interventions, and assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans for clients.

• Provide ongoing psychotherapeutic services to individuals, families, and groups, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and treatment guidelines.

• Coordinate with Reentry Social Workers to facilitate seamless discharge planning and transitions for clients receiving care.

• Engage with other healthcare providers and programs to develop comprehensive treatment strategies that address the unique needs of each client.

• Supervise and mentor social work interns or student volunteers, enhancing their clinical skills through guidance and feedback.
\n
• Develop and lead group therapy sessions focused on areas such as mental health awareness, coping strategies, and emotional well-being.

• Complete all necessary clinical documentation and statistical reports in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

• Participate in clinical supervision and case conferences, contributing insights that enhance patient care and team collaboration.

• Stay informed about current best practices and trends in mental health therapy, committing to continual professional development and training.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this position is to work with teenagers and adolescents who are facing a range of emotional and behavioral challenges. Qualifications\n

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Selfcare Space Counseling Services offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $52,000 to $70,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
