Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) to join our dynamic team at Oakbend Physical Therapy in South River, New Jersey. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality physical therapy services, focused on patient-centered care and evidence-based practices. Your contributions will directly impact the recovery and well-being of our patients, with a salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year.

Work Environment

You will be working onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in South River, New Jersey. The environment is designed to be patient-friendly, incorporating innovative therapy equipment and technology. As a member of our team, you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans, enhancing patient engagement and promoting teamwork. Our workweek consists of Monday through Friday, providing 40 hours of dedicated patient care.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Assessing and evaluating patients referred by physicians to establish tailored treatment plans that align with their unique needs and recovery goals.
• Administering a range of therapeutic interventions, utilizing techniques suitable for orthopedic, pediatric, neurological, and sports medicine patients.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress to ensure adherence to treatment protocols and modifying programs as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Providing education and training for patients and their caregivers to promote understanding of injury management and enhance independence.
• Meeting minimum utilization goals and contributing to the overall effectiveness of our services through exceptional customer service and patient interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient population includes individuals suffering from various musculoskeletal injuries, those recovering from surgical procedures, as well as athletes rehabilitating from sports-related injuries. We take pride in developing tailored approaches that address specific patient challenges, fostering rapport and trust throughout their recovery journey.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following credentials:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program recognized by the APTA or CAPTE.
• A valid license to practice physical therapy in the State of New Jersey.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, complemented by strong computer proficiency.
• Ability to build meaningful relationships with patients, encouraging their participation in care.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist is required, candidates with specialized expertise in orthopedics or sports medicine will have a distinct advantage. A demonstrated ability to leverage evidence-based practices in a clinical environment is highly desirable.
