Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand each client’s unique needs and develop individualized therapy plans that cater to their specific conditions.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused approaches, to individuals, couples, and families.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and professional integrity.

• Engage in regular consultations with your colleagues from various disciplines, enhancing our holistic approach to client care.

• Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including workshops and training, to remain informed about advancements in mental health research and therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship issues. Our clients often come from underserved backgrounds, making it essential to tailor your therapeutic approach to meet varying cultural and personal needs effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
\n
• Possession of an active and unrestricted LPC license in the state of Texas.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in counseling, ideally within a clinical setting, is essential.

• Demonstrated understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practices.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing for the establishment of rapport with clients from varying backgrounds and circumstances.

• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and the technology required for remote counseling services.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization or additional training in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly desired.

Compensation and Benefits\n
