Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT) - Rehabilitation Center

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team at Positive Change Therapy, LLC. In this role, you will work closely with patients facing limitations due to physical injuries, illnesses, cognitive impairments, psychosocial issues, mental health concerns, and developmental disabilities. Your focus will be on creating personalized treatment plans that maximize patient independence and promote optimal health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Positive Change Therapy, you will have the following key responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations for assigned patients, selecting appropriate assessment tools and tests to establish baselines for treatment and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement interventions aimed at restoring function, improving mobility, relieving pain, and preventing long-term disabilities. This may include techniques such as trigger point therapy and therapeutic exercises.
• Document all evaluations, treatments, and patient progress meticulously within our electronic medical record system while ensuring accurate billing and compliance with health regulations.
• Perform screenings for various conditions, including lymphedema and fall risks, ensuring timely referrals and continuity of care.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to address patient needs, ensuring a coordinated and patient-centered approach.
• Engage in departmental educational initiatives, potentially contributing to publications and presentations that promote professional development and advancement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse patient population, including but not limited to individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, stroke survivors, and patients with chronic pain or neurological disorders. Your expertise will help these individuals regain their independence and improve their quality of life through tailored therapeutic practices.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A valid Florida Physical Therapist license.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in an acute care facility is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, along with proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques.
• Experience working with pediatric patients and a comfort level in both clinic and hospital settings.
• A commitment to continuous learning and a passion for patient care that aligns with our organizational values.

Preferred Experience

While candidates with varying experiences are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those who have experience working in interdisciplinary teams, employing innovative therapeutic methodologies, and exhibit familiarity with hospital medicine practices.

Compensation and Benefits

In recognition of your expertise and commitment, this position offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000–130,000 annually.
