Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized 1:1 patient care through hands-on therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to trigger point therapy.
• Comprehensively document all aspects of patient care, ensuring accurate clinical records, billing information, and effective communication with our multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge and skills in assessing and treating a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory guidance, including HIPAA requirements and Medicare billing protocols, while ensuring high ethical standards in patient care.
• Engage in open and empathetic communication with patients and their families, providing education and support throughout the treatment process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. Your role will especially focus on providing care to both adult and pediatric patients in various stages of recovery, adapting your therapeutic interventions to meet their unique needs. Building strong relationships with patients and understanding their personal goals is essential for effective rehabilitation outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Master's or Doctorate degree is preferred.
• An active Florida Physical Therapist License is mandatory.
• Proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques and a strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology are essential.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with patients and healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

• One or more years of clinical experience in an acute care hospital or rehabilitation setting.
• Previous exposure to pediatric physical therapy is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
