Motion Menders Therapy is actively seeking a passionate and qualified Licensed Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team in Hialeah, Florida. In this full-time, onsite position, you will play a crucial role in guiding patients on their recovery journey by enhancing their mobility, strength, and overall quality of life. Work Environment

You will be an integral member of a dynamic healthcare team consisting of two skilled physical therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Working in our outpatient office, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with your peers while providing individualized therapies to a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify each patient's unique needs, guiding them in setting realistic recovery goals.
• Provide individualized treatment plans, seeing 2-3 patients per hour, to maximize their functional independence.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic modalities aimed at increasing range of motion and mobility, reducing reliance on medications, and exploring non-surgical interventions.
• Develop and implement personalized fitness and wellness programs tailored to each patient's health status and recovery objectives.
• Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure holistic care and optimal treatment plans.
• Analyze treatment outcomes, meticulously report progress, and adjust care plans as necessary to meet patient goals.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation consistent with best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Provide inspiring support and motivation to patients, encouraging them to adopt healthier lifestyles while undergoing treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on a diverse range of outpatient clients, including athletes, individuals recovering from injury, and those seeking preventive care. We provide specialized services geared towards enhancing physical function and overall wellness, ensuring every patient receives personalized attention during their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current and valid state Physical Therapist license, with no disciplinary actions against it.
• Proficient in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, for efficient patient documentation.
• Strong manual therapy skills are essential for delivering effective treatments.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome new graduates, candidates with experience in orthopedic outpatient care are highly preferred, as they may require less training and can provide immediate value to our team. Familiarity with sports rehabilitation techniques and previous work in a fast-paced clinical environment will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
