Key Responsibilities

• Assess and analyze patients' physical therapy needs through thorough evaluations and physical assessments.
• Design and implement cost-effective treatment plans that focus on enhancing clients' motion and mobility.
• Employ a wide variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy, exercise regimens, and therapeutic modalities tailored to each patient.
• Incorporate patient-specific strategies that aim to minimize reliance on medications and avoid unnecessary surgical interventions.
• Document patient progress meticulously, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records are maintained for optimal care continuity.
• Deliver motivational support to patients during their rehabilitation journey, encouraging them to achieve their personal functional goals.
• Educate patients and their families about injury prevention and the benefits of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, focusing on strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role involves working with a diverse range of patients, including geriatric individuals, those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, athletes rehabilitating from injuries, and patients with chronic conditions affecting their mobility. Your tailored approach will not only help restore day-to-day functionality but also improve the overall quality of life for those you care for.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current certification and licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• No record of board actions or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, with a solid foundation in developing and executing individualized treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• Proven expertise in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.
• Experience in home health care or outpatient orthopedic settings is preferred, but not required.

Compensation and Benefits
