Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of each patient to assess their physical status and functional capabilities, ensuring that all findings are documented accurately within our electronic medical record system.
• Crafting individualized treatment plans that incorporate various therapy modalities, including manual therapies, exercise prescriptions, and education on self-management strategies.
• Engaging in proactive screenings to identify patients who may benefit from specialized interventions such as lymphedema therapy, fall risk assessments, or tailored rehabilitation programs.
• Implementing treatment sessions that focus on restoring mobility, alleviating pain, and preventing the potential for permanent disabilities by utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Collaborating closely with our multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals to discuss patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and address complex patient needs effectively.
• Participating in mentorship opportunities, providing guidance to students or interns, and contributing to department education initiatives.
• Maintaining minimal administrative burdens by ensuring a high standard of documentation and communication regarding billing processes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient population includes individuals recovering from physical injuries, those managing chronic conditions, and clients dealing with cognitive impairments or mental health challenges. You will work with both inpatient and outpatient cases, addressing a wide spectrum of rehabilitation needs, from post-surgical recovery to pediatric physical therapy.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate degree is preferred.
• A valid Florida Physical Therapy license.
• Hands-on proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques and a robust understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
• Experience working effectively with pediatric populations and familiarity with hospital-based care practices.
• Comfort and competence in providing both inpatient and outpatient care, ensuring sensitivity to the unique challenges faced by diverse patient groups.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have at least one year of clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting, demonstrating their capability to deliver comprehensive and quality care while managing a varied caseload. Familiarity with an interdisciplinary approach and evidence-based rehabilitation practices is also highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include:
