Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations that include detailed reviews of patient history, specific assessments, and the documentation of results to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Communicate evaluation findings and the proposed treatment plan effectively to patients and their families, actively involving them in the goal-setting process.
• Implement individualized treatment protocols reflecting patient presentation, ensuring adaptation to the evolving healthcare landscape.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed, ensuring timely and accurate adjustments to patient care plans based on observed changes in condition.
• Manage discharge planning and follow-up care, including precise documentation of patient encounters and progress to maintain comprehensive care records.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, encompassing individuals with various physical rehabilitation needs, including musculoskeletal disorders, post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and neurological conditions. Your role is vital in helping these individuals restore movement, improve function, and achieve their recovery goals, contributing significantly to their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for Florida licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic or rehabilitation setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems for effective documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
