Key Responsibilities\n

• Client Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the mental health status of clients. This includes gathering personal histories, identifying symptoms, and establishing initial therapy goals.

• Therapeutic Intervention: Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, establishing therapeutic objectives that are both realistic and measurable.

• Ongoing Support: Schedule and conduct regular therapy sessions, providing clients with the tools and coping strategies necessary to overcome their challenges. Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

• Collaborative Care: Work in conjunction with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to provide comprehensive care and make referrals when specialized intervention is required.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions and treatment progress within our electronic health record (EHR) system to facilitate continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population is diverse and includes individuals struggling with a range of mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief, and substance use disorders. You will engage with clients of various cultural backgrounds, ages, and life experiences, contributing to an inclusive therapeutic atmosphere. Your ability to understand and respect these diverse backgrounds will play an essential role in developing therapeutic relationships and effective treatment plans.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey is essential.

• Minimum of four years of professional experience in a mental health counseling role, demonstrating expertise in working with a variety of disorders.

• Strong understanding of evidence-based treatment approaches and a commitment to culturally competent therapy practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for building rapport and fostering therapeutic alliances with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
