Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health concerns and identify their unique needs.

• Devise personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring their individual objectives and challenges are addressed.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, employing various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused strategies.

• Monitor client progress towards treatment goals, utilizing both qualitative and quantitative methods to document outcomes effectively.

• Engage in regular consultations with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and case managers, to ensure integrated and holistic care for clients.

• Provide educational resources to clients and their families, promoting understanding of mental health conditions and fostering the active involvement of family members in the therapeutic process.

• Develop and implement crisis intervention strategies when necessary, ensuring immediate and appropriate support for clients in distress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, comprising individuals and families from various backgrounds and experiencing a spectrum of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Your role is instrumental in delivering culturally competent care that respects and acknowledges the unique experiences of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Demonstrated training or extensive experience in mental health counseling, particularly in outpatient settings.

• Commitment to upholding confidentiality and adhering to the highest ethical standards of practice.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience providing psychotherapy services in a clinical setting, particularly with clients who have experienced trauma or severe mental health disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
