Overview A law firm seeks a driven Employment Law Associate with 3 to 6 years of experience to join its team in Sacramento, California. The role involves working on pre‑litigation matters, high‑profile single‑plaintiff employment cases, systemic discrimination and wage and hour class actions, and Private Attorney General Act (PAGA) representative actions. Responsibilities Work on pre‑litigation matters and high‑profile employment cases. Handle systemic discrimination and wage and hour class actions. Respond to administrative charges and counsel clients on employment issues. Manage complex cases and take an active role in legal matters. Take and defend depositions, make court appearances, and argue motions. Handle mediations and related work typically managed by mid‑level associates. Requirements 3–6 years of litigation experience at a peer law firm. Exceptional academic credentials. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Must be a member of the California State Bar. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Certifications Member of the California State Bar. Skills Outstanding interpersonal and exceptional writing skills. Ability to work independently and in a team.
