Sacramento - Mid-Level Employment Litigation Associate

Overview The Sacramento office of Fisher Phillips is seeking a Mid-Level Employment Litigation Associate with 3-5 years of litigation experience to join its employment practice. This position offers the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility and to work closely with experienced practitioners in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Handle California wage-hour class action matters and PAGA cases. Draft and respond to discovery and initial pleadings. Draft and argue motions, and take and defend depositions. Manage multiple matters in a fast-paced setting with strong writing and analytical skills. Qualifications 3-5 years of litigation experience; ideal candidates will have wage-hour class action and PAGA exposure. Admitted to practice in California; JD from an ABA-accredited law school. Strong academic credentials, excellent writing and analytical abilities, and the ability to manage multiple matters. Motivated, proactive, and able to work well independently and in a team environment. While prior employment law experience is preferred, strong core litigation skills and a demonstrated interest in labor and employment law are welcome from qualified candidates in other practice areas. The yearly salary range for this position is $185,000 – $215,000.
