Cantonese Transcriptionist for AI Training

Role Overview

Help improve next-generation AI systems by producing accurate, high-quality Cantonese and English transcription data for a remote client project. Your linguistic expertise will support AI training through real-world audio input, transcription review, and annotation. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe and annotate Cantonese and English audio recordings accurately and consistently.
• Review and refine automated transcripts according to linguistic and project guidelines.
• Identify and correct language nuances, speaker accents, and contextual cues.
• Produce clean, time-stamped transcripts that meet required formatting and quality standards.
• Work with project leads to resolve transcription ambiguities and clarify unclear content.
• Provide linguistic insights that strengthen AI training data and model performance.
• Submit deliverables in line with project timelines and milestones.

Qualifications

• Native Cantonese proficiency and strong understanding of regional dialect variations.
• Professional audio transcription experience, especially with Cantonese and English content.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and linguistic sensitivity.
• Ability to use transcription tools and audio playback software, and type in traditional and simplified Chinese.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience reviewing or annotating linguistic data for technology, media, or research projects is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, manage assignments, and consistently deliver high-quality remote work.

Work Terms

• Remote contract engagement.

Compensation

• $20 to $35 per hour.
