Help improve language technology by producing accurate German transcripts and linguistic annotations from audio content. This remote contract role centers on preserving each recording''s meaning, tone, context, and regional language nuances. Key Responsibilities

• Listen to German audio and create accurate transcripts.
• Review and edit transcripts to meet linguistic and style guidelines.
• Add required metadata, including speaker identification, timestamps, and contextual cues.
• Work with project stakeholders to resolve unclear audio or linguistic questions.
• Perform quality checks to maintain accuracy and consistency.
• Provide feedback that improves transcription processes and guidelines.
• Handle project data confidentially and in accordance with compliance protocols.

• Native-level German proficiency, including an understanding of regional dialects and variations.
• Experience in transcription, linguistics, or related language-focused work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Comfort using audio playback tools, transcription tools, and standard office software.
• Ability to interpret and follow detailed project guidelines.
• Familiarity with linguistic annotation and metadata practices is preferred.
• Strong organization and proactive problem-solving skills in a remote work environment.
