Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions to assist clients in coping with and overcoming mental health challenges.

• Facilitate couples and family therapy, fostering an open environment for communication and resolution of conflicts.
\n
• Perform comprehensive mental health assessments for clients, including evaluation of mood, behavior, and cognitive processes, to tailor treatment plans effectively.

• Collaborate closely with the TEAP Specialist for short-term counseling initiatives that complement ongoing therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Engage with medical staff and wellness professionals to develop integrated treatment strategies that enhance client outcomes and ensure holistic care.
\n
• Provide training and mentorship to less experienced clinicians, enhancing the team's skills and capabilities.
\n
• Document clinical services in compliance with industry regulations and organizational standards.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily support patients facing end-of-life care challenges, their families, and individuals experiencing significant emotional distress. Your compassionate approach will play a crucial role in addressing the diverse needs of your clients, ensuring not only their psychological stability but also aiding them in navigating sensitive transitions. You’ll work with a broad spectrum of mental health concerns, requiring a delicate balance of empathy, clinical expertise, and practical support.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active LICSW license in Washington State is mandatory.
\n
• A Master's Degree in Social Work or a related field is required.
\n
• Minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in clinical social work.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to establish rapport and create a therapeutic environment conducive to healing.

• Commitment to maintaining an active, non-probationary license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist is required.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including up to 20 hours a week, to accommodate client needs and clinical responsibilities.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is highly regarded, but not essential.

• Background in hospice or palliative care settings, demonstrating an understanding of the unique challenges faced by this patient population.

• Proven ability to navigate electronic health record systems for patient documentation and care coordination.

Compensation and Benefits\n
