Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions aimed at addressing the unique emotional and psychological needs of clients.
\n
• Facilitate couples and family therapy to improve relational dynamics and support family systems.
\n
• Perform comprehensive mental health assessments for applicants and students to evaluate mood, behavior, cognition, and emotional wellness.
\n
• Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance clinical skills within the organization.
\n
• Collaborate with the TEAP Specialist to offer short-term counseling services and work alongside medical and wellness staff to plan and implement integrated care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Clinical Social Worker at Telecare, you will primarily work with individuals dealing with substance use disorders and accompanying mental health issues. Your role will focus on fostering recovery, empowering clients to develop coping strategies, and facilitating support networks that are essential for long-term health and wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A current Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in the state of Washington.
\n
• A Master’s Degree in Social Work or a closely related field.
\n
• At least two years of clinical experience in a relevant setting, demonstrating an ability to work with diverse populations.
\n
• Willingness to dedicate up to 20 hours per week, allowing for flexibility within your schedule.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills that foster a calming and supportive environment for clients.
\n
• Current and active licensure, with no restrictions such as suspension or probation as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

Preferred Experience\n

• Advanced training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is preferred, although not mandatory.

• Experience in substance use treatment settings is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of integrated care delivery models that incorporate mental health and substance use services.

Compensation and Benefits\n
