Director of Business Development

Now Hiring: Director of Business Development – Retail Key Responsibilities Lead business development initiatives for the Retail vertical, managing a target list of approximately 25 key accounts while building and maintaining a strong, qualified sales pipeline. Prepare and deliver client quotations, bids, and commercial proposals, ensuring timely and accurate submission through Tender Management in alignment with Hellmann’s sales strategy. Act as the primary liaison between customers and internal operations teams to ensure seamless execution and a high level of customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of customer interactions, pipeline activity, and commercial data within Hellmann’s CRM system, while contributing market insights and supporting team collaboration and travel requirements. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Logistics/Supply Chain, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in sales, marketing, and customer service. Demonstrated track record of consistent year-over-year sales growth and achievement of revenue targets. At least 6 years of direct sales experience within the freight forwarding industry.
